The video opens to Roxie Horror, dressed only in sunglasses and a lingerie top, perched on sofa, a lavish background of flowers and shiny cloth draped behind her. Curiously, the video is in black and white.
HELLO NEW YORKERS! A big smile crosses her face as she stretched her arms out toward the camera, as if she wanted to hug it. Hello you tired, you poor, you huddled masses yearning to break away from this weird reality we now call real life. Her arms come down and she leans forward, almost flirtatiously. No matter who you are or what you think politically, we all know this life isn't ideal for us. And we all miss something from before that fateful day in November.
She leans back slightly, no longer leaning on her arms. She is now getting to the REAL point of this video. So if you want a little escape from your new real life, I have just the thing. Mark your calendars for Saturday, August 21st, because I'm having a birthday bash for myself at Club Strangelove (the hottest club in all 5 boroughs), and I want it to be so good that I forget there even was a bomb.
